Child Care

Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College offers a variety of child care worker/early childhood education courses throughout Northwest Wisconsin.  Classes range from licensing and certification required courses to seminars and workshops to enhance the curriculum and skills of family and group centers employees.

Because of the large area WITC serves, many people have found that the scheduled class times are inconvenient or impossible to attend. To better serve these individuals,  Child Care by Correspondence courses have been developed.

The chart below outlines the minimum requirements to begin your career in child care.  For more information, visit the  DHFS website. http://www.dhfs.state.wi.us
