Rethinking Leadership will be held 9/24/08 at WITC-Hayward. Jan Chronister, author & presenter, guides participants through topics of traditional versus servant leadership. Skills and content can be applied to the business setting as well as non-profit organizations, the medical community, and the family. Interactive discussions are designed to get participants thinking about their own leadership style and how they can be more effective.

Conflict Resolution/Team Building will be held 10/21/08 at the Lumberjack Steakhouse. Diane Brander McCleary is an organizational consultant, author, educator and life mentor. She is a nationally known consultant based in the upper Midwest and serves the Duluth, Superior, Hayward and Spooner communities. Diane will work with individuals in hands-on activities designed to increase workplace effectiveness.

Welcome to Hayward, where you'll find a community rich in history, culture, recreation and commerce. With dozens of lakes for fishing and water sports, and miles of trails for riding snowmobiles, ATVs, cross-country skiing, hiking, and off-road/on-road bicycling, the Hayward Area provides year-round outdoor activities.

WITC-Hayward offers credit and noncredit courses as well as customized training to business and industry customers. A new classroom has recently been added to accommodate the growing list of course offerings, and one of the current classrooms has been equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to better facilitate interactive television classes. Instructors on campus will now be able to transmit quality instruction to distance sites via multiple means of electronic/digital media.

Students can pursue a Supervisory Management Associate Degree, take courses towards a degree in such areas as Accounting, Office Support Specialist and Marketing, or gain a certificate in several areas like Computerized Accounting, Supervisory Leadership or Supervisory Management Systems.

WITC-Hayward is located at 15618 Windrose Lane, Suite 106. The door faces Highway 63 near its intersection with State Road 77. The parking lot entrance is attached to Pamida's parking lot.
