Presidential Search

The Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College Board of Trustees is pleased to announce its search for a new president! The Board of Trustees is currently inviting applications for the position of College President. The Board of Trustees seeks an exceptionally qualified person who possesses the professional credentials and personal characteristics consistent with the Presidential Profile.

WITC is one of sixteen technical colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System and is located in Northwest Wisconsin. We have four campus locations (Ashland, New Richmond, Rice Lake, and Superior), two branch locations (Hayward and Ladysmith), a Learning Center in Spooner, and our administrative headquarters in Shell Lake. The College has a yearly credit enrollment of nearly 7,400 unduplicated students and 20,500 continuing education unduplicated students, and generates nearly 3,000 FTEs.

Learning is a passion for us, and we feel a deep responsibility as Northwest Wisconsin’s center for technical education to create exciting and rewarding opportunities for the students who choose WITC. We are very proud of the recent news in which the Washington Monthly published an article ranking WITC as the 7th best two-year college in the nation!
