WITC-Rice Lake Campus

WITC-Rice Lake has a proud history of technical education dating back to 1941. The current facility was constructed in 1976 and has undergone several major additions, including the David R. Obey Technology Center in 2003. The college’s state-of-the-art equipment and technology is continuously reviewed and updated to meet the needs of our students and local business and industry. Rice Lake Campus is ready to meet the technical education needs of the area.

The campus offers 34 programs in associate degree, one- and two-year technical diplomas and short-term technical diplomas. Four programs -- Architectural Commercial Design, Telecommunications Technician, Telecommunication Technologies and Wood Technics are unique to WITC, as they are not offered at any other technical college in Wisconsin.

WITC-Rice Lake boasts an active Conference Center that provides an ideal setting for local, regional, and state-wide conferences and training sessions. The campus offers a wide variety of continuing education, retraining opportunities and evening programs, serving thousands of students annually.

The Rice Lake area is packed with exciting attractions and recreational opportunities.  From shopping and historic sites to bike trails and parks, Rice Lake has it all.  The town and surrounding area is a great natural beauty: the waters of Rice Lake and the Red Cedar River, plus the beautiful Blue Hills have been attracting visitors for decades. Friendly people and genuine hospitality make everyone feel welcome.
